If Dr. Shay looks familiar it’s because she’s all over my website!

This was my third time photographing her and might be my favorite!

Dr. Shay has got a LOT of stuff going on in her life!

She’s a professor, a therapist, a wife, a stepmom and because that wasn’t enough…..she also started a line of luxury candles!

I have no idea how she does it!

These portraits were a little treat to herself for her birthday!

Shay rented this dress off of Rent the Runway and my lord I’m in love!

Honestly I felt like I was creating a color study for Pantone with this session!

When photographing clients outdoors, I typically try for an early morning or early evening session for that pretty soft light.

Dut to a crazy busy August (no complaints!), the photos were taken around 4pm. That’s 4.5 hours before the sun sets!

Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about the sun being hella harsh and the real feel temp being 103!

We made it work and I love the results!
