Hey Ladies….
It’s no secret that while I love all portrait photography, I really adore photographing women.
Something about that one on one time with another girl and making her feel confident via photography is just really special!
Many of these portraits are some of my favorite images I’ve ever taken during my career as a photographer.
Headshot is definitely a very loose term for me and does not just include your head, hah (I get this question all the time)!
While quite capable of taking a standard corporate headshot, I do try to mix it up a little bit.
Get the safe shot for the company website but then play for a bit, something just for you!
While I’ll never out anyone, some of these images may have a secondary use as images for dating apps such as Bumble, Hinge, etc..
None of these women are models. They are project managers, therapists, lawyers, bloggers, musicians, professors…
If I had a dollar for every time a woman told me she hated photos of herself, I could eat at Uchiko every night for a month!
I’m a bit different from many Austin photographers in the way that I’m very directive during a portrait shoot.
While I try not to “prom pose” you, I do offer A LOT of direction during the headshot session.
Like the friend that will tell you when you have food in your teeth, I’ll let you know if your arm is at an unflattering angle or you’re giving yourself a double chin.
