Nadiera + Mike | Honolulu Wedding Photographer

My story with Nadiera began ages ago (like 2005) when I first started dating my now husband and she was a fellow science nerd at UH Manoa!

Took a while for us to get close but before long we were crying to sappy football movies, eating Bell (as in Taco, don’t judge), and doing horrific versions of Heart classics at the local karaoke dive bars together. Kailua Palace……forgive us.

Mike is a lovely engineer from upstate NY who owns more freaking baseball caps than anyone I’ve ever seen! His east coast Irish family thoroughly enjoyed my southern twang.

Nadiera got her mendhi done the day before and we celebrated the rehearsal dinner at the Waikiki Aquarium!

The bride walked down her sandy aisle to “Time of my Life”. Yeah, like from Dirty Dancing! RIP Swayze.

Nadiera is a marine biologist and dives extensively so the tables were named after Hawaiian fish! The bridal party table was the Humuhumunukunukuapua’a table.

Or reef trigger fish if your Hawaiian is a little sparse.

I love my Guyanese/Canadian/Floridian/Hawaiian princess! So glad you met your Irish prince! Ho’omaika’i ‘ana!!

Mike has many gifts but dipping ladies on the dance floor isn’t one of them! Definitely my most memorable first dance capture!
