Jes + Ian | South Austin Portrait Photographers

Jes and Ian are South Austin kids like yours truly, so it was fitting that we did the most ‘southie’ shoot ever!

You might remember these two from their Chapel Dulcinea wedding back in June!

We waited this long to finally do their “day after” session but it was worth it!

Warning…..this might be triggering……for serious pizza consumption.

Jes and Ian ate at the divine Homeslice Pizza their first night in Austin so we started the session there!

After that we hit other heavy hitters like the Jo’s wall, the Austin postcard mural and the skyline!

Note that bottom image and think of the classic 80’s film “Dirty Dancing“.

In my 8 years as a photographer, I’ve referenced this movie a million times during portrait sessions.

This marks the very first time I’ve ever seen someone pull off “the lift” however! I was shocked!

Ian’s brawny Midwestern roots served him well!

I certainly had “The Time of My Life” photographing Jes and Ian!
