Talk about some serious range in looks with this portrait session!

My client wanted updated headshots but also some lifestyle images that showed a softer side.

Shooting all of these in one space within two hours, I’m very pleased with the variety.

She looks strong, assertive and very much in charge in these initial images.

By changing her posture she goes from intimidating to empathetic almost immediately.

One thing I love about using a studio space is the boundaries it sets up naturally.

I’m someone that is never short on portrait ideas and gets very excited about them!

It’s great having a few friendly fences to keep me on track.

I love how the placement of her hand close to the face and relaxed posture gives a professional but warm look.

This adorable coat below is vintage Forever 21 and over 10 years old!

I need this hair on my head. This was an outtake where I had my client look away to do some relaxing breathing.

It’s important to take a few breaks during a portrait session to reset your face and get out of your head.

I love the dichotomy of these images below. Is she a CEO or a woman in a yogurt commercial?
