My wonderful friends, Matt and Shannon, had a baby!

With no real expectations or plans, I cruised over to photograph Shannon with Josephine!

Here’s a few favorite images of them at their home in South Austin.

Naturally the yellow walls called to me with their cheerful siren song so we photographed the bulk of these images in their bedroom.

Silly Matt was at some dumb Orange Theory class so I’ve got to go back again soon!

I’ve known Matt since the 8th grade when we were lab partners in biology and met Shannon when they started dating in 1999!

In college they were my next door neighbors and when we moved to Austin six years ago, they lived down the street from us. So fun!

It’s been so great photographing their wedding, the purchase of their first home and now their new daughter, Josephine Islay!
