John | UT Graduation Portraits

It’s no secret redheads are having a bit of a moment right now!

Ever since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, handsome John has been getting a bit more attention!

John’s mom called me from Lubbock asking if I could squeeze him in for his UT graduation portraits the week of commencement!

I was happy to get out in the house (I’ve been on maternity leave!) to spend time with this incredible man!

So in case you don’t know, I had my first kiddo in March. A son named Andy.

Because I’m the sentimental type, spending time with John made me think about the day Andy will graduate college.

Will he follow in his dad’s and grandfather’s footsteps and go to the University of Texas too?

Will college even be a thing then or will having a trade skill be what’s important?

John and I talked fashion, vodka drinks (his fave is the Chilton), and his plans post Austin!

We took about a million photos of John with his cap on backwards. Totally my fault! #gradfail

Isn’t this the sickest sport coat?

Yoori | Austin Branding Business Headshots

As someone who’s home is now cluttered with colorful and noisy kid crap, I was instantly jealous of Yoori’s peaceful South Lamar home!

The perfect setting for these branding headshots!

Yoori is a food blogger and health coach with the goal of incorporating more joy/self care into daily lives!

Yoori takes a very holistic approach and I adore her clean, colorful IG page!

Check out her instagram page here

She’s currently working on her new badass website and needed some killer headshots for it!

I can’t wait for it to go live!

Check back for a link to that soon!

Also how cute is her dog, Macchiato?

Let’s give it up for rad female business owners!

Off to make borscht and pair it with fresh lime gimlets! Nostrovia!

Michelle + Greg | Austin Engagement Photos

It’s funny how you can shoot at a location over and over and each time it’s a bit different!

I’ve been photographing couples on South Congress for the better part of seven years and it is always a new experience!

Many of these locations I chose after seeing Michelle in this smoking hot red dress!

It’s no secret red is one of my favorite colors to incorporate into a portrait session!

The only negative thing is that I’ve had that cheesy 80’s song “Lady in Red” stuck in my head for a few hours! Hah!

So wrong…yet so right?

Greg is a rad dj/musician so lord knows he prolly knows that classic hit!

These two have been together since meeting in booming Lubbock, Texas and I love Michelle’s unique engagement ring!

These guys were great to be around!

We talked Game of Thrones’ fan theories, the merits of fake laughter and kitchen slow dancing!

Many congrats to these two cute kids!

Doesn’t Michelle kinda look like Kate Middleton in the above photo?!

A little B & E is a great way to break up a portrait sesh!
