Lauren + Joey | Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs Mansion Wedding

Before I met Lauren and Joey I’m not sure I would have thought the union of a Latin teacher and a lawyer would be this killer of a party!

It was hilarious, high energy, emotional and all around really amazing!

The whole thing went down on a sunny December day at the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs Mansion. Gotta love Austin winter!

These two lovers had a very tender ceremony and even remembered the Sandy Hook Elementary victims in their blessings.

They met in college and have been together ever since! It’s always great shooting people that have had the same friend crew for ages!

Lauren and Joey have amazing taste in music and their first dance song “I will do the breathing” by Matt the Electrician has been on Spotify’s heavy rotation here at Casa de Welch since their wedding day! I highly recommend checking it out!

Lauren and Joey got a ton of help from event planners extraordinaire, The Simplifiers! Thanks for making life easier Jordan!

The handsome band MilkDrive entertained us with some jazz-grass jams while my amigo Mike from Live Oak DJ kept the partying going late with dance tracks!

The gorgeous flowers were provided by Bouquets of Austin!

The tasty taste was provided by Pascal’s Catering. Yum!
