Alert the media, I blogged for the first time in 2020!

Last month I headed north to my hometown of Dallas for this adorable engagement session!

I photographed Janel’s family Christmas portrait last year and was excited to see her pretty face (and lover Cody’s) again!

Although Cody and Janel call Austin home, they met while at school in Dallas!

Their group project love story is hilarious btw! Hah!

Any Riverdale fans?

A guilty pleasure of mine for sure but doesn’t Janel resemble Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) at certain angles?

All dark hair, dark eyes and flawless skin…..she’s lucky!

We started this session at a patisserie in the West Village called Bisous Bisous!

Check out those adorable Christmas macaroons! Cute!

We then ventured to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens which I have actually never visited!

It was like a Christmas explosion there but in the best way possible. Think little snowy villages, turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree.

I love that I was able to use my long lens and create a faux Christmas tree farm vibe!
