Once upon a time there were two girls that lived in the same condominium complex off South Congress in Austin.
One was an exotic Bulgarian princess named Vania with perfect skin and the ability to do the Argentinian tango like no other.
This sexy dance instructor could speak many languages, bake all sorts of tasty breads and was quite hilarious.
The other girl was a grungy, home bound photographer that was getting rusty after a long quarantine.
One day they got together and the grungy one photographed the sexy one.

I’ve been putting makeup on and dressing up my friends since around the 7th grade, it is truly my favorite thing to do!
Normally Vania is in shorts with zero makeup (although I did see her shoveling a hole in heels one time!) so I was taken a bit aback by how much more Eastern European she appeared in “war paint”.
Naturally we had to put her in a red lip!
Because of quarantine restrictions, these images were shot in my front yard with a backdrop, my porch and in my crappy carport!
