David + Caroline | DC Engagement Photography

If you can believe it, this couple spent all day moving and then sitting an hour in horrible DC traffic before meeting up with me at Meridian Hill Park for their engagement photos!  I was amazed that they were so calm and fun and just amazingly great to be around after that! Engagement photos are almost always my very favorite thing to shoot for the simple reason that we have so much more time together alone than we usually do on a wedding day. David and Caroline, you guys were AWESOME to shoot! I loved working with you two and cannot wait to shoot your wedding next month! Happy early birthday Caroline and see you on May 14th! xoxo

David - These are truly great pics. Thanks so much for truly exploring the possibilities with us and spending such a large amount of time on capturing these moments. I cannot WAIT to get ahold of the whole set. You tease us well. Great Job.

Leo + Marlene | Virginia Portrait Photography

I have never had a client hire me and then hire me again so quickly! Thanks Marlene! I found this family session of Marlene and her mother Leo to be inspirational and it made me re-think how to approach a family photo. It also made me miss my mother astronomically! : (

Why does Texas have to be so so so far away?

Cheryl - Your Mom loves you tremendously and thinks you are awesome! Too bad you can’t photograph us together.

The Unstoppable Julie Hord | DC Portrait Photography

I met the gorgeous Julie Hord during the brief magical time I was an artist in residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, NE.   She is one of those people you meet and fall madly in love with immediately. We bonded over a love affair of unicorns, things that sparkle and large accessories! I had the massive joy of photographing her in Vegas during the WPPI convention! Such such fun!
