Christen+Josh | Strong Mansion | Austin Wedding Photography

Christen and Josh are cool Brooklyn kids but came back to Christen’s old stomping ground to get hitched.  The reception was at my favorite venue! Strong Mansion in Dickerson MD! Love it! Saying they had a themed wedding was an understatement. It was a visual wonderland! If I was a kid, it would be like heaven. Actually as an adult, it’s like heaven! Take an already beautiful place + Christen and Josh’s fun, quirky, travellin’ aesthetics = amazing wedding! Enjoy your sneak peek and happy one week anniversary!!!!

Special thanks again to Amber Wilkie of Amber Wilkie Photography! Couldn’t do it without you girl!

Lena + Zeid | DC Event Photography

Lena and Zeid had known each other for four whole years before finally getting together! Zeid was living in Austin at the time but moved out here to the D to the C to be with the gorgeous Lena! They had a small courthouse wedding a bit back but wanted to have an awesome party with friends to celebrate their marriage. This amazing event took place at Elizabeth’s on L and was so fun! They both have such varied backgrounds and much of that was represented! For example Lena is part of an improv group called Press Play! and they did this absolutely hilarious improv skit relating to Lena and Zeid (no beans!!).  Also in Lena’s past life she was a DJ and so the music was awesome! What’s up Janet Jackson mash ups!  More to come on this blog post but wanted to post a few quick images!

David + Caroline | Maryland Wedding Photography

David and Caroline had a fun romantic wedding on May 14th at Woodend Sanctuary. The forecast spelled rain rain rain but Caroline was so confident and sure that things would be okay that she gave the go on an outdoor ceremony! And it was perfect! Just enough time to have the gorgeous ceremony and portraits! That sort of confidence she has is really apparent in her relationship with David as well. These two seem to have spent their whole relationship doing nothing but laughing, dancing and kissing! Thank you so much for having me at your wedding! There isn’t a doubt in my mind that you’ll have many more years of laughing, dancing and of course, kissing!

Oh and a very very special thank you to my awesome second shooter Amber Wilkie of Amber Wilkie Photography! You were amazing and thank you so much for your help!

Carla F. - Some advice: Love takes work from both parties! Don’t try to mold the other person, love your differences, and don’t take each other for granted (grass is not always greener on the other side!).
