Krystle + Zak | The Springs Event Venue Wedding

I love Krystle and Zak’s love story!

The two met at Katy High School in 2003 and were just friends for ten long years.

Finally both single in 2013, the two got together and Zak proposed at the Creekwood Botanical Garden three years later!

Krystle laughingly told me that Zak saw her mowing the lawn in high school and fell in love immediately! Hah!

Gotta love a girl that can mow!

Truthfully, I think I’m extra fond of their story because it’s so similar to my own love story with Kevy. ; )

Last month, these two tied the knot at The Springs Event Venue in Brookshire, Texas.

Although it was a bit cold, this wedding was full smiles and happy tears all night!

Krystle’s sweet dad had misty eyes throughout the day and it was hard to see him and not get choked up as well.

Anyone else cry when they see someone else cry?

This wedding was Texan to the core with Zak rocking some killer boots and a cowboy hat!

Tasty BBQ was served, the last song was Josh Abbott Band’s “Oh, Tonight”, and the couple left sitting on the back of Zak’s truck’s tailgate!

Many congrats to these two! I know y’all are going to have a great life together!
